About

Dude, this site contains language related resources.  Ancient and modern.

There is no particular restriction as to the content as long as it relates to  languages, language learning, study or linguistics ......

It is written, maintained and added to by Frank Middleton (rank amateur), mainly for fun, so any mistakes are his (or should I say mine) and his alone.

Which also means that pages come and go and are added on an ad-hoc basic depending on time, inclination and current interest.

Interests :-

Etruscan
Latin
Greek (Ancient)
Linear B
Egyptian (Ancient)
Programming ?
Forgotten Scripts
Spanish
French
Russian

So we can see the direction that this site is taking.

Language old and new with some digression on programming where relevant (analysis of language).

My skill level. Minimal to non existant. I am not a linguist. So for those of you who are, and have got this far, feel free to send me your corrections.

PS. Dead languages. I've included Latin under dead languages even though a click on
Nuntii Latini  will show it as very much alive and kicking because traditionally it is described as such.

I'm also aware that there are mailing lists using ancient Greek ......

Does anyone still use Linear B ;) ?
